Book platform payouts in Accounted

You create a key in the Accounted settings and paste it into Diffa. Diffa checks the key and the company right away. Then Diffa reads the chart of accounts and asks you to approve the accounts before anything is booked.

Diffa reads

  • The company and its accounting method
  • The chart of accounts and the VAT treatment on each account
  • Financial years and locked periods
  • Whether an account requires a project or cost centre

Diffa writes

  • One voucher per sales day with sales, VAT, fees and the net amount on the platform receivable, in the voucher series you chose. Per payout or per transaction can be chosen instead
  • The records as an attachment on the voucher
  • Never bank lines. You book the deposit against the receivable as usual

Common questions

What must the key be allowed to do?
Read the company and the reports and write vouchers with attachments. If the key lacks something, Diffa tells you what when you paste it.
What happens if an account requires a project or cost centre?
Diffa sets no project or cost centre. If Accounted requires one on an account Diffa books on, Diffa tells you before the first voucher and says which account. Remove the requirement or give the account a default value in Accounted.
Which voucher series is used?
The series you choose in Diffa. In Accounted a series is one letter.
Can I download the vouchers instead?
Yes, as an SIE 4 file per payout.
