Book payouts from Yabie
The till books the sales. Diffa books the commission from the Yabie Pay report you mail in. If you like, Diffa can also book the Z-report.
Book in Fortnox, Spiris, Bokio, Björn Lundén or Accounted.
What you need
- Diffa's recipient address for Yabie. It shows on the connection once you have chosen Yabie as a source.
- The Yabie Pay report after each payout. You download it in Backstage under Reports and mail it from the address you sign in to Diffa with.
- If Diffa is to book the Z-report, turn on automatic sending in Backstage with Diffa's address as the recipient. The report must have the same organisation number as the company in Diffa.
How it works
Card purchases are paid out through Yabie Pay. The Yabie Pay report shows per day what was sold, what Yabie took in commission and what was paid out. Diffa books the commission so the card receivable comes down to exactly the amount paid out. You or your accountant book the bank deposit against the same receivable. A payout in a currency other than kronor waits until someone has looked at it.
Yabie Pay deducts the commission on card purchases before the money is paid out. Diffa books the commission without VAT. The till has already booked the sales, so they are not booked again.
- Diffa reads the reports when the mail arrives. Other attachments are kept but not read.
- From the Yabie Pay report Diffa books the commission for each payout against the card receivable.
- By default the till books the day's takings. If you choose in the account settings that Diffa does it, the Z-report is booked per VAT rate on its own date, one voucher per day.
- A Z-report waits if Diffa cannot read it, if it belongs to another company or if it has payment methods other than cash, card and Swish, for example gift cards.
- A payout waits if the sales minus the commission do not come to what was paid out or if it is not in kronor.
What you get
- The Yabie Pay commission without VAT, on a voucher of its own per payout. The card receivable comes down to what was paid out.
- The Yabie Pay report attached as supporting document to the voucher with the commission.
- If Diffa books the Z-report you also get the sales per VAT rate, the cash on the cash account and the till rounding kept apart. The Z-report goes with it as supporting document.
The vouchers go to the program you have connected, that is Fortnox, Spiris, Bokio, Björn Lundén or Accounted.
Common questions
- Do I have to send the Z-report?
- No. By default the till books the sales, directly or through its own link to the accounting software. Diffa then books only the commission. If you want Diffa to book the day's takings, choose that in the account settings and send the Z-report.
- Why do I have to mail the Yabie Pay report myself?
- Backstage cannot send that report on its own. That is why Diffa takes it from the address you sign in to Diffa with, but not from other addresses.
- I sell second-hand goods. Can Diffa book them under the margin scheme?
- Yes, when Diffa books the Z-report. You state for the source that you sell second-hand goods under the margin scheme. Sales without VAT in the Z-report are then booked as margin-scheme sales and the VAT is calculated on the margin in your return.
- Does Diffa book the bank deposit?
- No. The card receivable stays at the amount paid out until you book the deposit. That way you always see what has not yet come in.
- What if a Z-report does not add up?
- That only applies when Diffa books the Z-report. Diffa then books nothing from the report and shows why. It may belong to another company or the payment methods may not add up to the sales.
